A recent article and video from LifeSiteNews looks to St. Maximilian Kolbe for a solution to the present tyrannical onslaught. This very much expresses well one of the reasons I had for choosing this saint for this blog. He, as a seminarian in Rome, experienced the outward signs of hostility in 1917 the Freemasons had toward the Catholic Church and the Roman Pontiff. In response to this blatant expression of hatred for the faith he founded the Militia of the Immaculata.
Since this is primarily a spiritual battle St. Maximilian used spiritual means to fight back, especially by looking to the Immaculate Virgin in assisting us:
“Is it possible that our enemies must carry on their work to the point of taking over, and that we remain idle, or, at the most, just pray without taking any action: Do we not have weapons more powerful than theirs — the protection of Heaven and of the Immaculate Virgin? The Immaculate and undefeated Queen who fights off every heresy will not give the field over to the enemy that is raising his head again; if she finds servants who are faithful and docile to her orders, she will win new victories greater than we would imagine.”
St. Maximilian knew the need to win souls for Christ, including those who are at the present time enemies. We read in St. Paul’s letter to the Romans:
Do not render evil for evil … If it be possible, as much as is in you, have peace with all men. Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. But if the enemy be hungry, give him to eat; if he thirst, give him to drink.” – Romans 12
Our Lord in the Gospels tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This, along with prayer and penance, will bring about an end to the coming Luciferian New World Order. However, many trials and sufferings might afflict us before that happens. Due recognition goes to John-Henry Westin at LifeSiteNews.
St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us.
